Jun 11, 2026"Great cafe at the bridge above the train platforms. Very friendly service, different types of coffee beans, personal advice. They sell bags of different roasts, and some snacks. Seating available if you want to meet with someone or sit down waiting for the next train. They also have a loft level with a view!"

Apr 08, 2026"We went there for a espresso macchiato and a cappuccino. Both were very nice, though we appreciated more the cappuccino to be honest. The service was also very kind and willing to help. The location is also very convenient as it is located inside the train station. If you have to wait a few minutes for your next train and you need something to keep you up, go for a quick coffee at this store. We bought some coffee to take home and the staff ground it for us."

Mar 07, 2026"Kaffee Macher impresses with its exceptional coffee! Many friends ask me: „Really!? You tell me to walk all the way down the tracks just for a coffee … “. My usual response: „Yes, you better do and give me feedback afterwards!“. The baristas' expertise shines through in every cup! I often buy beans too, excellent choices and high-quality products! I think the owners might benefit and consider opening a real cafè with some tables somewhere downtown instead the walk-by option at Basel SBB."
